HOW TO WRAP PIPE WITH HIGH TEMPERATURE TAPE

HOW TO WRAP PIPE WITH HIGH TEMPERATURE TAPE

by: RedOps / Robco

  • Rule of thumb is wrapping the tape for the first turn around, then start the second wrapping halfway over the first and continue this pattern for the entire tape wrapping of the pipe length.

  • This will create a double wrapping of the pipe and this is the best practice for protection. Just as you would do on a hockey stick!

6 reasons why you need heating blankets on your industrial liquid containers during winter

The Benefits of Heated Covers for Industrial Liquids During Harsh Canadian Winters When it comes to handling industrial liquids during the brutal Canadian winters, maintaining the proper temperature is critical for efficiency and safety. Whether you're storing or transporting chemicals, oils, adhesives, or other sensitive materials in drums, pails, or totes, freezing conditions can severely impact their viscosity, usability, and even cause irreversible damage. One practical solution to this challenge is the use of heated covers or heating blankets. Here’s why they are essential for industrial applications. 1. Preventing Freezing and Maintaining Flow Canadian winters often bring sub-zero temperatures, which can cause industrial liquids to freeze or become too viscous to be effectively processed. Heated covers help maintain the fluidity of liquids by applying consistent, controlled warmth around drums, pails, or totes. This prevents costly downtime associated wi...

6 Reasons Why Removable Insulation Covers Are Essential in Hospitals

Why Removable Insulation Covers Are a Smart Investment for Hospitals In the complex environment of a hospital, efficiency, safety, and cost management are crucial. Every decision made must prioritize patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. While often overlooked, insulation in hospitals plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. One of the most effective and versatile solutions is the use of removable insulation covers, also known as removable insulation jackets. These covers are a smart investment for any healthcare facility, offering a range of benefits that directly impact the hospital’s bottom line and overall performance. 1. Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings Hospitals operate 24/7, making energy consumption a significant cost factor. Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, along with various mechanical equipment, consume vast amounts of energy. Uninsulated or poorly insulated equipment can lead...
